Project 2010/2012

The proposed partnership involves four schools interested in investigating the field of EMPLOYMENT in the four countries. The perception and provision of employment in the four countries will be investigated keeping in mind the European Union's policies in this field and their effects as well as the relationship between schools and the labour market.
The participants will look at this very broad topic from various angles in order to obtain a clearer view of the situation. We identified 6 areas to investigate corresponding to six work groups:

- Work and Globalisation
- Employment and ethnic minorities
- Gender and age in the labour market
- Employment and disability
- Unemployment
- The role of trade unions.
 

Each theme will be investigated from different perspectives, the students will conduct research, meet professionals and politicians (local and European), meet people experiencing difficulties in finding work (disability, long term unemployment, social exclusion), visit relevant places, conduct interviews or national surveys.
